Scholarship Details
Reward: Up to AUD $10,000, applied directly to tuition fees.
Deadline: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. Early application is highly recommended as awards are limited.
Eligible Courses: Most undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degrees (excluding Graduate Certificates and the Global MBA).
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Academic Excellence:
Undergraduate: Minimum ATAR equivalent of 85/100.
Postgraduate: Minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) equivalent of 65.
Status: Must be a full-time international student (not a citizen or permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand).
Offer of Admission: You must hold a valid full offer of admission to a degree at Macquarie University before you can apply for the scholarship.
Residency: Must be intending to study on-campus at Macquarie University.
How to Apply
Apply for a Course: Submit a course application through the Macquarie University Application Portal.
Receive an Offer: Wait to receive a formal letter of offer and a student ID number.
Submit Scholarship Form: Complete the online VCIS nomination form. You will need to enter “VCIS” in the Scholarship Name field.
