Scholarship Coverage & Benefits
Scholarships are divided into First-class and Second-class categories based on merit.
Tuition Coverage: Full tuition fee waiver for all eligible recipients.
Annual Stipend: Selected postgraduate candidates receive a monthly living allowance, totaling up to ¥36,000 per year.
Master’s (First-class): ¥3,000 per month.
Doctoral (First-class): ¥3,500 per month.
Note: Bachelor’s and Second-class Master’s/Doctoral awards typically cover tuition only.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health and meet specific age limits as of September 1, 2026:

Bachelor’s: High school diploma; under 25 years old.
Master’s: Bachelor’s degree; under 40 years old.
Doctoral: Master’s degree; under 45 years old.
Language Proficiency: Requirements vary by program medium (Chinese or English). Common standards include HSK 4-5 for Chinese-medium or IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 80 for English-medium.

Application Process
Scholarship consideration is only granted after you have been admitted to an academic program at XMU.
